1 Tim 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” We believe in this passage and as a team of 16 students and 5 leaders we took it with us as we went to Nicaragua to set a Christ like example to whoever we were to meet. Our objective in going down there was to host a number of youth outreaches but our heart was to serve the people in whatever manner we could. We spent times working with the children at the school, doing grunt work at the Buzbee’s “Ruby Ranch”, hanging out with the youth, praying for church plants and getting demolished in soccer games. It was a fantastic trip in which God allowed us to share the gospel through testimony, drama and message to 200 young people and see the seeds being planted in their lives. We are so proud of our youth group and their hearts for the lost of Nicaragua.
